**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**

Defending Champ, Remeno Loyal secures first win of season at Needmore Speedway on Friday

Norman Park, GA – Friday, May 13th, 2016 – The Southern superstars of mini sprint car racing were welcomed in to an anxious crowd on Friday night to see history in the making as the United Speed Contest Sanction two winged sprint car series invaded Needmore Speedway 4/10th mile D-shaped clay oval in the farming community of Norman Park, Georgia. The racing action was fast and furious but clean with no drivers getting any severe damages to their winged missiles on the 1st night of the double header weekend. When the checkers fell it was 2015 series Champion Remeno Loyal from Snellville, GA who had made a closing laps pass to win the 15-lap www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Seres main event. Loyal would be the 5th winners in 5 races in the series during 2016. The win was Loyal’s first 2016 and career 2nd with the series.

Loyal in the Caged N’ Racin 2x entry was able to make a pass on the closing laps of what looked like for certain to be the Todd’s Tomatoes entry of #67 David Hall capturing his second win in a row. Hall who was  the Smoky Mountain Speedway winner on April 23rd looked to dominate the night. However, over the closing laps in a race that was fairly clean and all drivers giving it all they had, Loyal had just a little more at the end to capture night one of the two-night contest.

While Loyal was able to celebrate the win, #67 Hall broke something on his car in the late laps which forced him to have to sideline before the finish. Hall’s teammate #68 Dirk Miller, the I-75, Speedway winner on April 22nd, would came home in the runner up spot. The #66 and another Todd’s Tomatoes entry driven by Robby Hoffman would go to the podium in the K&N Filter third place. The #14 of Matt McCullough from Atlanta, GA would follow him in the 4th position and two-time series National Champion, Bobby Zaontz from Columbus, MS rounded out the top five drivers.

David Hall kicked off the evening’s USCS 600 action by winning the Hoosier Speed Dash. Remeno Loyal then won the Engler Machine and Tool First Heat. The www.rockauto.com Second Heat was won by Robbie Smith.
