Turpen gets seventh USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour win of the season at Fort Payne Motor Speedway
Fyffe, Alabama - June 9, 2017 - Two-time USCS National Champion, Morgan Turpen from Cordova, Tennessee battled to her seventh United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters win of the of the 2017 season on Friday night at Fort Payne Motor Speedway in front of a standing room only crowd. Turpen held off current USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour National points leader Jordon Mallett from Greenbrier, Arkansas for the win. Mallett made a mid-race pass for the lead that was negated by a caution situation for another racer’s loop on the same lap to bring out the yellow and re-align Turpen in the front of the pack. Turpen, the 2017 USCS wins leader, then held off a rim riding Jordon Mallett the rest of the way to win the 30-lap contest and park in the USCS Victory Lane.

Defending USCS National Champion Morgan Turpen won her 7th USCS Feature race of the 2017 season at Fort Payne Motor Speedway Friday night. Jordon Mallett ran a close 2nd. 3rd was Terry Gray. 4th went to Dale Howard and Lee Moore rounded out the top 5.


2014 USCS Rookie of the Year, Brandon McLain led the next flight in 6th place followed by Joey Schmidt in 7th place. Joe Larkin collected 8th place money. USCS veterans Jeff Willingham 9th and Brian Thomas completed the top ten.

Morgan Turpen and Lee Moore were the heat race winners.

Brandon McLain won the USCS Hoosier Tire Speed Dash.

USCS Speedweek Finale at Riverisde has beenpostponed until THU, JUNE 22nd

The Saturday night USCS race at Riverside is cancelled due to the nearly one inch of rain they (track) received Friday afternoon after it was already wet there.

The track and USCS both agreed to wait and see until morning to see if it was possible, but, it's just too wet.

Very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused We tried, but, it has just been a rough end to the week...A rain date for thus event has been announced for Thursday, June 22nd..Final details for that will be announced by Monday afternoon..Pete Walton USCS.

Skinner charges to 2nd USCS Speedweek 2017 win at Talladega

Eastaboga, AL – June 1, 2017 – Past USCS Champion, Marshall Skinner from Marion, AR, scored his second United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters win of the week during Round #5 of the USCS Sprint Speedweek 2017 at Talladega Short Track on Thursday night. Skinner had to hold off a late race charge by veteran sprint car racer and three-time World of Outlaws Champion Sammy Swindell from Germantown, TN. After both got past early-race leader Tim Crawley who finished in the K&N Filters Podium Award third position behind Swindell. Monday night’s Speedweek Round #4 winner and 2013 USCS National Champion, Derek Hagar also from Marion, AR finished fourth followed by eleven-time series National USCS Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, TN in the fifth place.

Atwood, TN – May 29, 2017 – Derek Hagar scored his second United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters win of the 2017 season by racing from the K&N Filters Pole Position into the USCS Victory Lane in the USCS Sprint Speedweek 2017 Round #4 on Monday night at Clayhill Speedway. Hagar who was the 2013 USCS National Champion, raced into the lead in turn one of the initial lap and never trailed again on the way to his 46th career USCS main event win. He is fourth on the all-time USCS winnner’s list.

Crawley charges to Round #2 USCS Sprint Speedweek win at Jackson Motor Speedway

Byram, MS – May 27, 2017 – The 2012 United Sprint Car Serie presented K&N Filters National Champion, Tim Crawley from Benton, AR raced from the K&N Filters Pole Position into the USCS Victory Lane on Saturday night in the USCS Sprint Speedweek Round #2 event at Jackson Motor Speedway. It was Crawley’s first USCS win of the season after finishing in the runner-up spot in the Speedweek opener at Hattiesburg Speedway on Friday night.
