NORMAN PARK, GA (May 20, 2017) – Jordan Mallett of Greenbrier, AR made his longest tow of any other of his competitors this weekend payoff on Saturday night, as he drove to his first United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour Presented By K&N Filters win of the 2017 season at Needmore Speedway. Mallett who was the 2011 USCS Rookie of the Year and the 2016 NSL 360 National Champion has attended every 2017 UCS Outlaw Thunder Tour event said in post-race comments that” I am glad to finally get the monkey off my back by winning this one tonight” after a string of solid performances.

In the USCS 600 Mini Sprint action, Gregg Jones of Navarre, FL has found Needmore Speedway to his liking.  Jones started the evening where he left off on Friday night, in Victory Lane after winning the six-lap USCS 600 Hoosier Speed Dash, and returned to that piece of real estate to end the evening after a wire-to-wire win in the 20-lap main event, his second in as many night

Atlanta, GA – May 2, 2017– The 21st Anniversary United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged sprint cars invade Lavonia Speedway on this Saturday night (May 6th) at 7:30 pm for the USCS Saturday of Speed Sprint Car Spectacular SPECIAL EVENT. The track has been a USCS driver and fan favorite over the past 20 seasons and was on the series original schedule on July 4, 1997.

MARYVILLE, TN - April 29, 2017 - The defending and two-time United Sprint Car Series National Champion Morgan Turpen of Cordova, TN showed East Tennessee race fans why she’s earned the title of “Queen of the Wings” as she posted a wire-to-wire win on Saturday night at Smoky Mountain Speedway.  It was the fourth straight USCS win for Turpen and her second victory in as many nights.

 Turpen also picked up the win on Friday night at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, FL for the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters.  In both races, the 2013 USCS National Champion Derek Hagar of Marion, AR made late race charges, but came up short each time.  For the 2nd straight night, Hagar had to settle for 2nd on Saturday.


SWEETWATER, TN (April 28, 2017) – While the defending and two-time United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters National Champion Morgan Turpen resides in the West Tennessee town of Cordova, she has found an East Tennessee home on the 3/8-mile clay oval at I-75 Raceway where she posted her third straight series win on Friday night.

The United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters racing event at Lexington 104 Speedway near Lexington, Tennessee with divisions including the K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modifieds, the USCS 600 Mini Sprints and M.S.C.A. 305 sprint cars scheduled for Saturday, April 22nd has been CANCELLED due to thunderstorms at Lexington 104 Speedway and considering the high probability of more storms today and on Saturday.

The next USCS event for the United Sprint Car Series and USCS Mini Sprints event is next weekend on FRIDAY 4/28 @ I-75 Raceway in Niota (Sweetwater), Tennessee and on SATURDAY 4/29 @ Smoky Mtn. USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour and MSCA Sprint Cars headline Lexington 104 Speedway's 2017 season opener on Saturday, April 22nd.

Atlanta, GA - April 12, 2017 -  The USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters and the MSCA 305 winged sprint car divisions headline a high-speed 2017 racing season-opener at Lexington 104 Speedway near Lexington, Tennessee on Saturday, April 22nd. The event, entitled as the “Tennessee Tangle” 2017, promises to bring more winged sprint cars to a west Tennessee speedway than any event that anyone can remember in past decades.

Morgan Turpen wins the USCS Hurricane Hustle I finale at Flomaton Speedway on Saturday.

Flomaton, AL – April 15, 2017 - Two-time and defending United Sprint Car Series National Champion Morgan Turpen of Cordova, Tennessee won the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour Hurricane Hustle I finale at Flomaton Speedway to make her second trip of the weekend to the USCS Victory Lane on Saturday night. Turpen started from the K&N Filters Pole Position, then led all 30 laps of the race to also collect her third win of the young 2017 season after winning the opener on March 3rd at Hattiesburg Speedway. The win was Turpen’s 15th career USCS feature win.

Veteran Midwest sprint car racer and Hall of Famer Danny Smith from Chillicothe, Ohio scored his second runner-up finish of the weekend racing across the finish line just ahead of the evening’s BKW Construction Company quick qualifier and USCS Hoosier Speed Dash winner, Jordon “The Jet” Mallett from Greenbrier, Arkansas. The two battled the entire distance for the runner-up spot, but, at the end Mallett collected the K&N Filters Podium Award for third place in the main event.

Caden Englehart wins USCS Hurricane Hustle 600 final at Flomaton Speedway
Flomaton, AL – April 15, 2017 – Caden Englehart from Indialantic, FL won his career-first USCS main event on Saturday night in the USCS 600 Sprint Car Series portion of the USCS Hurricane Hustle I night #2 at Flomaton Speedway.  Englehart was declared the winner after the previous night’s winner, Gregg Jones, came up light at the scales in post -race technical inspection. Brandon Anderson from Montgomery, Texas charged from a ninth starting position to finish in the runner-up spot and earn the Wilwood Disc Brakes Hard Charger award. The K&N Filters Podium Award for third place went to the series current points -leader and 2016 USCS 600 Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year, Conner Morrell from Palmetto, Florida. Holden Anderson, also from Montgomery, Texas took the fourth spot, and Jim McNulty rounded out the top five drivers.
