Taylor grabs $2000 Clayhill Rislone USCS Modified Freedom 40 win
USCSOWMTaylorP7.18.092.jpgJuly 18, 2009 - Atwood, TN – Open wheel modified hot-shoe Peyton Taylor from Batesville, Arkansas pushed his Rislone USCS Modified win streak to two-in-a-row on Saturday night. Taylor did so while collecting the $2000 winner’s share in the 40-lap Rislone USCS Modifed Series “Freedom 40” at Clayhill Motorsports. Taylor bested a thirty-two car field of top open wheel modified drivers from five states after setting second quick-time and dogging early race-leader Hunter Rasdon from Jonesboro, Arkansas for the first eighteen laps before taking the lead on lap nineteen.

Gray grabs Parts Plus USCS win at Batesville Motor Speedway
USCSGray6.27.09.jpgBatesville, AR - July 10, 2009 – Defending Parts Plus United Sprint Car Series National champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett Tennessee inherited the lead from 2008 USCS Mid-South Thunder regional champion, Tim Crawley from Benton Arkansas on lap twenty-four of the 30-lap Parts Plus United Sprint Car Series A-Main and went on to win his 7th feature event of the 2009 season. HERNDON CAPTURES RISLONE USCS MOD SPEEDWEEK Round 2 at MALDEN

Herndon aka the Atwood Outlaw from Atwood, TN captured the Rislone USCS Modified 25-lap main event at Malden Speedway on Friday night.  Herndon started the Speedweek Round Two feature racefrom the K&N Filters pole position. He then bested a field of 28 top open wheel modified drivers from six states in the Modified portion of the Freedom 200. Rislone USCS Modified Weekly Racing Series points leader, Matt Cooper from McKenzie, TN finished in the runner-up spot three car lengths back. Ashley Newman, the reigning 2008 Rislone USCS Modified Champion from Ripley TN, finished third, followed by Jeff Floyd from Walnut Ridge, AR in fourth and veteran West Tennessee racer Junior Lemmings from Jackson, TN rounded out the top five.
