USCSRisloneWRSlogo.jpgSeptember 32, 2009 - The race for the top ten positions is growing tighter and tighter as the results from number of events counting toward the 2009 Championship race pile up. Matt Cooper from McKenzie, Tennessee continues to lead the Rislone USCS Modified Weekly Racing Series point standings with 695 points after 14 races at his home track of Camden Motor Speedway in Camden, Tennessee. Veteran Mid-South driver, Junior Lemmings from Jackson, Tennessee who competes regularly at Camden Motor Speedway is in the runner-up spot in the standings with 647 Championship points just 48 points behind the leader.

Rasdon collects $5000 in Clayhill Modified Finale
USCSOWMRasdonheadshot.jpgAtlanta, GA – August- 30, 2009 - Current Rislone USCS Modified Touring Series points leader Hunter Rasdon from Jonesboro, Arkansas closed out the 1st Annual Clayhill Motorsports Modified Motor Madness with a victory in Saturday night’s 40-lap finale. Rasdon pocketed $5000 for the win after besting a forty-four car field on the final night of the event that featured back-to back $5000 to win races on Friday and Saturday nights. Rasdon, who has been the most dominating open wheel driver in the Mid-South area over the 2009 season, finished in 15th place after having a flat tire near the end of Friday night’s Round One 40-Lap main event. He had raced in the top three positions most of the race.

On Friday, September 4th the South’s fastest and most powerful race cars invade Boyd’s Speedway in the Chattanooga, Tennessee suburb of Ringold, Georgia for Round One of the holiday weekend Georgia State Championship Races. On the following night, Saturday, September 5th, the Parts Plus USCS winged Outlaw sprint car contingent will move across the state to Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia for Round Two.

Skinner claims Parts Plus Clayhill Clash
USCSSkinner8.08.09.jpgAugust 8, 2009 – Atwood, TN – Former Parts Plus USCS series Champion, Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas passed Raymond Stull on lap twenty-three of the thirty-lap Parts Plus United Sprint Car Series main event at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee to gain the lead for the final time on Saturday night. He then survived a lap twenty-seven caution before racing the final seven laps to victory lane and a first place pay check of $2000. Skinner also won the 2008 Clayhill Clash.

Carver collects career-first USCS win at NAS

Anglin’s first career win in the Rislone USCS Modified series came over a talented field of drivers from three states. Anglin started in the K&N Filters Pole Position after winning the night’s first qualifying round. 2006 series Champion, Ben Reed from Munford, Tennessee started outside the front row with Anglin.
