Gray wins O'Reilly USCS Thriller at Greenville Speedway
USCSGray9.15.07.jpgSeptember 15, 2007 - Greenville, MS – Defending O’Reilly USCS National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee won a thriller in the 30-lap O’Reilly United Sprint Car Series feature race at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi on Saturday night. Gray chased rising O’Reilly USCS star Bryce Vowan from Forrest City, Arkansas for 29 and ¾ laps then made a daring move midway through the final turn of the race around the outside of Vowan and raced the final 100 or so yards to victory lane for his ninth series win of the season.

Gray grabs O'Reilly USCS Sunday Speed Spectacular loot at Camden Speedway
September 2nd, 2007 - Camden, Tennessee – Defending O’Reilly USCS Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee inherited the lead from the 2002 National Sprint Car Hall of Fame 360 Driver of the Year, Tim Crawley while under caution on lap 14 and went on to lead the final sixteen laps race of the 30-lap Sunday Speed Spectacular at Camden Speedway to pocket the $2000 first place money. It was Gray’s eighth O’Reilly USCS win of the 2007 season. On lap fourteen while under caution, Crawley’s motor stalled and the Benton, Arkansas driver was sent to the rear of the field.

Trey Robb claims fifth O'Reilly USCS win of the season

September 01,2007
Braselton, GA. (September 1, 2007) – Fifteen year-old Trey Robb from Newcastle, Oklahoma captured his fifth career O’Reilly United Sprint Car Series feature while sweeping Saturday night's O’Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour event at Lanier National Speedway.

Robb set fast time and then won both the Lucas Oil Power Dash and the Engler Machine and Tool First Heat Race. The teenager then fought off challenges through lap twenty-two from defending series Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee. The four car lead pack battle also included veteran Doug Day from Winder, Georgia and English road racing transplant Adam Jackson from Birmingham, England.

Gray gets seventh O'Reilly USCS win at Clayhill Motorsports

August 18,2007
Atwood, Tennessee – Defending O’Reilly United Sprint Car Series Champion and current points leader, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee drove his own Rislone #10 /Wesmar Powered/J and J Auto racing sprint to victory in the 30-lap O’Reilly USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour main event at Clayhill Motorsports on Saturday night. Gray inherited the lead from the previous night’s winner, Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas on lap fifteen. Crawley dropped out of the event with a suspension failure.

After winning the Engler Machine and Tool First Heat race Tim Crawley drew a six inversion in the K&N Filters Pole Draw placing him on the outside of the third row in the feature race line-up grid.. Inside of Crawley in row three was the Butlerbuilt Second Heat winner Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas. Just in front of them in the second row were eighteen year-old O’Reilly USCS Rookie of the Year point leader Don Young from Bartlett, Tennessee on the outside and Forrest City, Arkansas’ Bryce Vowan inside. On the pole was Wade Oliver from Southaven, Mississippi with six-time 2007 feature winner, Terry Gray on the outside of the front row.

Crawley sets new track record and wins O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder race at Malden Speedway.

Malden, MO -Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas won the 25-lap O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series www.uscsracing.com Mid South Thunder race Friday night at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri. It was only Crawley's second visit ever to the Malden Speedway, but he made the most of it by also setting a new all-time one-lap track record in time trials. Crawley drove the Ward Racing #88 around the 3/8 mile clay oval in just 13.258 seconds eclipsing the old mark of 13.336 set by Kenny Adams from Malabar, Florida on September 21, 2001.

Crawley started on the pole of the A-Main after Engler Machine and Tool First Heat winner, Jerrod Hull from Sikeston, Missouri drew a zero inversion in the K&N Filters Pole draw. This placed Crawley, on the pole with second quick qualifier and Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee on the outside of the front row. Gray was carrying a two-race win streak at the track into this event. Crawley grabbed the lead exiting turn two of lap one and started his march to the pay window for the winner's share leaving Gray and the balance of the field were left to battle for the runner-up spot.

Gray Pockets $2800 in O'Reilly USCS Dixie Speedway Sprint Car Nationals.

Woodstock, GA – Defending O’Reilly USCS National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee ran his 2007 series feature win total to six by winning the 8th annual Dixie Sprint Car Nationals main event Saturday night at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia. Gray led every lap of the finale before one of the largest crowds to ever watch a sprint car race at the famed and historic challenging 3/8 mile D-shaped track. Gray took home a hefty $2800 paycheck for his efforts on the evening for his fourth career win at the speedway. He also won the Lucas Oil Power Dash and finishing second in the Butlerbuilt Second Heat race.

Gray’s fortunes for the evening continued when Engler Machine and Tool First Heat winner Daryl Smith from Riverview, Florida drew a four in the K&N filters Pole Award drawing. This inverted Smith who was the 2006 East Bay Raceway track Champion to the outside of the second-row for the main event and for the start of the feature race and placed Gray, a five-time series Champion, on the pole with second-year Chattanooga, Tennessee sprint car driver Shane Nelson to his right

Marshall Skinner goes to two-in- a-row in O'Reilly USCS at Sugar Creek

  July 27, 2007

Blue Ridge, GA - Former O'Reilly USCS Champion, Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas ran his series winning streak to two-in-a-row on Friday night at Sugar Creek Raceway in Blue Ridge, Georgia by winning the 30-lap O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series portion of the 8th Annual Sugar Creek Raceway "Night of Thunder". Skinner who started fourth in the field finished lap-one in third place then passed pole-starter Lance Moss from Cherryville, North Carolina for the runner-up spot on lap four. It took him until lap twenty-three to chase down and pass sixteen-year old 2006 O'Reilly USCS Rookie of the Year Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas for the lead. Skinner then traced the final seven laps to victory lane untouched.

Marshall Skinner gets first 2007 O'Reilly USCS feature win the hard way at Greenville Speedway

Greenville, MS - 1999 O'Reilly USCS Champion, Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas won his first O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series of the season at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi on Saturday night. Skinner dominated the field with a clean sweep performance by first winning the 6-lap Lucas Oil Power Dash, then capturing the win in the 10-lap Engler Machine and Tool First Heat Race. Skinner then raced from his sixth place starting position to victory lane in the 25-lap O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series www.uscsracing.com Mid South Thunder main event.

Trey Robb goes to three-in-a-row in O'Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder competition at Watermelon Capital

Cordele, GA - Fifteen year-old Trey Robb from Newcastle, Oklahoma won the O'Reilly Auto Parts United Sprint Car Series 30-lap winged sprint car feature race at Watermelon Capital Speedway on Sunday afternoon. It was Robb's third O'Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour win in-a-row and his fourth feature win on the season in the series. Daryl Smith from Riverview, Florida lead the first fourteen laps with Robb in pursuit before a blown engine side-lined the 2006 East Bay Raceway Champion.

Shane Stephens leads USCS Modified standings into Malden Speedway Summer Shootout

Atlanta, GA - Going into the 1st Annual Summer Shootout event at Malden Speedway, Shane Stephens from Arlington, Tennessee leads the 2007 USCS Open Wheel Modified Series point standings with 680 points after six events. Stephens points were accumulated with finishes that include one feature race win at Malden Speedway on May 25th, a second place finish at Malden Speedway on April 20th a third place finish in the most recent event on June 2nd at Columbus Speedway.

Tim Crawley captures O'Reilly USCS Firecracker 100 trophy at Camden Speedway
July 3rd, 2007 - Camden, Tennessee - Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas made a lap-eighteen pass for the lead around former O'Reilly USCS Champion, Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas then raced into victory lane in the 30-lap O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series www.uscsracing.com portion of the 2nd Annual Firecracker 100 event at Camden Speedway in Camden, Tennessee.

Skinner started on the pole and lead the first seventeen laps before Crawley raced by on the inside in Mike Ward's #88. Skinner held onto the runner-up spot until the five laps to go mark when defending series Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee who started tenth speed by into the runner-up spot and started to reel Crawley in before running out of laps. Skinner held on to finish in the third spot. Sixteen year-old 2006 O'Reilly USCS Rookie of the Year, Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas who had won the last two O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder regional events finished fourth after starting the feature race in thirteenth. Another improving young second-generation driver, Brian Bell from Memphis, Tennessee rounded out the top five.
