Erik Morine is hands down one of the best wrenches in Micro Sprints. The chemistry and trust in each other that Erik And Jackson have is why they are such a deadly force together. Erik along with Steffey Motorsports use to help Wellman in 2019 with setups and Parts, the last race of the year Wellman won using the setup Erik put in the car. Erik coming from Steffey Motorsports after the Tulsa Shootout deciding to part ways, Brings nothing but motivation and drive to JWR. Erik Is new to JWR in 2020 but has plenty of experience as a Crew Chief and Previous Driver. The 2020 Season Looks Very Bright As Erik Morine hope to Give Jackson Wellman and the Team their 1st Track Championship and Series Title along with Feature Wins

Tyler Shipman started at JWR in 2019 as an extra and at the racetrack. Since then he has been a key factor in the success that this team has. Shipman now Manages the team along with doing all the financial work. JWR Was founded in 2019. Tyler was part of the first win of JWR on July 20th 2019 that was also the first race of JW Performance. That night the car broke down during the Heat Race due to an injection problem. Heading into the main we were starting dead last before the Main Tyler came to the car leaned over and told Wellman “Good luck bub hope we fixed the problem, You got this!” Wellman Replied “ We are either going to wreck, break down, or win this damn race!!!. At the drop the green flag on the first lap Wellman starting dead last in the 15th position was up to 5th position by Turn 3 and got Collected into an accident putting him dead last for the restart. When the restart happened Wellman again went from 15th to 5th in 1 lap. Every restart Wellman picked up a position until 7 to go when he passed for the lead and won the race. It was the first time ever in micro sprint history at Canyon Speedway Park a driver started dead last and won the A-main.

Railee Wellman (Wife to Jackson Wellman) is Part Owner of JWR and always keeps the Team motivated even on the worst of days. She also helps drive the racing rig to the track, Make sure the team is hydrated and good to compete, Cleans Car after coming off the track, Checks tire pressures and fuel, and always makes Sure Jackson is Ready to go win a race. Railee may not know this but she is the true backbone of JWR.
