Driver Profile

Well I have been racing dirt track cars since 1991. I have about 35 wins and several different divisions a track championship. 1999.. Won my first race in only my second start in a class they called HOG cars in 1991. At a track south of Birmingham called Westover. I have raced hog cars, 4 cylinder pony cars. Nesmith Street Stocks. Bomber cars. Pure Street stocks Thunder cars. Sportsman late model. And probably my favorite class that I still race open wheel modified. I have one track championship in 1999 at thunder mountain speedway Fyfe Alabama which is currently called fort Payne motor speedway. I have probably 10 top three points championships. I took time off from racing 2003 to 2007 to help my son Garrett Loyd get his racing started which he has won a track champion and Talladega short track and hot shots. Now we have moved him up to 602 sportsman class which he is doing quite well. Also I drag race for about 10 years before I got into dirt. My dad raced at Gadsden speedway when I grew up as a kid. God has blessed us and we owe all our praise to him
