Brief History

Austin started racing in 2010 at Senoia Raceway, where he was racing in the Street Stock division. He won several races in that class.

A year-and-a-half later he moved up to a Hobby Stock car and won quite a few races in that division as well.

Horton, then picked up his current car owner (Wood Motorsports) as a sponsor and he put him in a stock clip-style Late model for a couple of races. From there Austin jumped into a Limited Late Model for two years and won numerous races driving for Wood Motorsports.

Austin obtained a Super Late Model at the end of 2015 and have been running Super, Limited and Crate Late Model ever since. Along the way he's picked up several wins and also claimed the 2017 Southern All Star Championship and Rookie of the Year honors.
